Elle Fanning GLITTERS in silver-tinsel Dress at Cannes Film Festival

Elle Fanning is a “twinkling” beauty.

The 25-year-old star of The Great shut down the Cannes Film Festival in the sexiest party dress ever.

Since she was a young adolescent, Fanning has attended Cannes every year and never misses a beat when strolling the red carpet and attending events during the week-long, glitzy festival of French cinema.

But when Fanning wore a dazzling outfit by Paco Rabanne to an event hosted by the design house on Thursday, she may have overdone herself.

The outfit had the star dressed in all-silver from head to toe, with a delicate choker neckline connecting to a flowing, tinsel-like skirt that Fanning showed off in an Instagram video as it bounced mesmerizingly with each step.

However, the skirt of her outfit began just below her chest, with two metal cups in the shape of snowflakes and a thicker metal strap running down the middle of her chest to join the neckpiece to the skirt. With her blonde hair in the middle part and matching silver stilettos, Fanning completed the look.

She had previously worn other glittering silhouettes to the festival this year as well. In a dreamy ball gown with a blush skirt embellished with crystals and a deftly embroidered silver bodice, Fanning walked the red carpet for the event's opening night. She accessorized with a striking Cartier necklace.

The L'Oréal Paris International representative said she kept a tube of Intense Black L'Oréal Paris Telescopic Mascara in her purse for touch-ups and blotting papers to maintain the perfect matte finish on her skin.
