Citadel, a new Amazon Prime Video starring Meghan Markle's close friend Priyanka Chopra, appears to make harsh fun of Markle's sister-in-law Kate Middleton.

The drama, which debuted in April, chronicles the fall of a multinational secret organisation that wipes its agents' memories.

In the third episode of the series, Chopra, who plays spy agent Nadia Sinh, gives colleague Mason Kane/ Kyle Conroy (played by Richard Madden) orders to meet with crime boss Sen Monro's Balduino Basto, according to US Weekly.

During a meeting with a crime boss, the actress reportedly instructs the other character to say, "The chief of armed forces? You might as well have asked me how to get between the legs of the Duchess of Cambridge!"

After Queen Elizabeth II passed away in September 2022, Kate Middleton, who was formerly the Duchess of Cambridge, was given the title Princess of Wales. But when the episode was being filmed, Kate probably still held the earlier position.

The Quantico star, 40, has known Markle, 41, for several years and even attended her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.

"I’ve known Meghan for three years and I’m so happy the way the world has responded to her because as long as I’ve known her … she is a relatable young woman of the world today," Chopra-Jonas exclusively told the outlet in April 2018.

There are rumours that Meghan and Kate do not get along. Prior to her wedding in 2018, Meghan said that Kate made her cry; yet, news sources stated the opposite.

"Everyone in the institution knew it wasn’t true," the Suits alum shared during an incendiary sit-down with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.

The bond between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle does not appear to have gotten any better recently.
