Former X Factor star has a swift career transition.

Betsy-Blue English, who rose to fame on the singing show in 2014 as part of the group Only The Young, has reportedly landed two acting gigs with Netflix.

A source told the Daily Mail: "Betsy's so incredibly excited to be able to start a career stateside.

"She's been acting professionally since she was 12 and these are the opportunities she's dreamed of."

Alongside a contract with Netflix, the musician-turned-actress is also set to lead an unnamed movie.

"Betsy's managed to secure a leading role in two TV shows and a couple of movies. It's all happened very quickly,” the insider explained.

"One of the television shows is created by the team behind 13 Reasons Why and The OA, and much more huge series she's a fan of."

Betsy is reaching her professional goals as well as thriving in her personal ones.

The former singer got hitched to songwriter David Stewart earlier this year. Stewart’s credits include his work on K-pop boy band BTS’ hit Dynamite last year.

Only The Young, comprising Mikey Bromley, Betsy-Blue English, Charlie George, and Parisa Tarjomani, was created by Jo Perry during the 2014 rendition of The X Factor.

However, the quartet split only after a year following their formation.
