The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, reportedly hosted a low-key birthday party of her son Archie.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry attended the historic event of King Charles' coronation, which took place on the same day.
Sources close to the family have revealed that Meghan baked a lemon cake for Archie using fruit from their garden.
According to an anonymous source who spoke with the Mail on Sunday, it is possible that some celebrities were among the guests at Archie's birthday party.
When asked about the guest list, the source reportedly stated, "Some of their friends are celebrities, so yes, that's likely."
“It will be a small intimate gathering.”
Among the high-profile residents of Montecito, California, where the Sussexes currently reside, are Hollywood stars such as Oprah Winfrey, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Ellen DeGeneres.
In their interview with Oprah, the couple revealed that Winfrey was a supportive confidante during their difficult time in the royal family.
According to Lisa Gaché, a children's etiquette teacher in Montecito, the birthday celebration for Archie was a stark contrast to the Britishness of the coronation Harry attended.
She said: "I would lean into something all-American.
They have embraced being here – the party should reflect that.
It’s also the perfect time of year for a fair with hot dogs and picnic tables.
Things that feel very celebratory of their new life, not their old one."
While Prince Harry was unable to attend Archie's birthday due to his attendance at his father's coronation in London, he did make it back to the US in time to see his son.
The Duke of Sussex arrived at Los Angeles International Airport around 7:30 pm local time, after a whirlwind trip that lasted just 28 hours.
