King Charles's Coronation and the Westminster Abbey have a ‘magical’ connection.

We are here to take you into the details of Westminster Abbey and how it looked during Kings Charles III’s coronation.

A King was set to be crowned there, in the battered but really lovely Coronation chair. As it waited for its royal occupant, it appeared almost fragile.

The atmosphere of expectancy was palpable. It was actually taking place right in front of us, on an altar covered in candles, prayers, and a golden radiance. It seemed like you were in a jewel box inside the Abbey.

The ceremony for the first Coronation in 70 years was lavish, flawless, and frequently strange.

King Charles and Queen Camilla performed the traditional ceremonies in front of 2,300 guests, adding a contemporary spin that highlighted diversity.

But it also resembled an extravagant wedding, with guests playing on their phones and crowding into every nook and cranny of the chapel to see who else was there.

And where else would 100 foreign heads of state, international nobility, and world leaders have the chance to interact with Ant and Dec?

There were glitzy dresses and caps, military uniforms complete with epaulettes, plumes, swords, priestly robes, and every hue and pattern of national attire. Selfies taken on the way in would serve as evidence that they had actually visited.

After waiting for this day for so many years, what was he thinking? Was he considering his mother, his own family, or the duty?

The King may have had less altruistic thoughts as the Archbishop of Canterbury appeared to give the crown a few twists on his head.
