Blink-182 fans, rejoice! The popular pop-punk band is set to make a triumphant return to the stage at Coachella Weekend 2 following Frank Ocean's departure.

The announcement was made via Twitter by the band's official account on Apr 12, 2023 .

"See you Sunday @coachella," the boys tweeted the amended music festival itinerary along with a few balloon emojis and an image of the schedule.

Their concert has been scheduled for Sunday night at 9:20 p.m. on the main stage of the gala. The act that will follow their performance has not been announced yet.

According to the festival organizers, Frank Ocean had to drop out of the feast due to "an injury to his leg on festival grounds in the week leading up" to Coachella weekend one, resulting in two fractures and a left leg sprain. This led to the change in the music festival's lineup.

However, Blink-182's upcoming staging has generated considerable buzz, with followers eagerly anticipating their comeback to the stage after their previous appearance in 2013.

The pop-punk trio has been a beloved band since their formation in 1992, known for their catchy hooks, infectious melodies, and angsty lyrics.

The band's discography boasts countless hits, including 'All The Small Things,' 'What's My Age Again?,' and 'I Miss You.'

Their upcoming performance will mark their first major live appearance since 2019, when they embarked on a tour in support of their most recent album, 'Nine.'

The announcement has also had a noticeable impact on the band's social media presence, with their Twitter account gaining over 10,000 followers in just 24 hours.

Many fans have taken to social media to express their excitement, with one user tweeting, "Blink-182 at Coachella is the reason I'm getting out of bed today."

The Coachella Weekend 2 lineup will feature a diverse array of artists, including headliners Travis Scott, Rage Against The Machine, and Beyoncé, as well as other notable performers such as Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Lil Nas X.
