Pop singer Aaron Carter cause of death revealed: Find out

Aaron Carter reportedly died due to accidental drowning in his bathtub.

The 34-year-old late musician was found submerged and dead at his home in Lancaster, California on Nov. 5.

Nearly five months after his death, a coroner’s report has been released, shedding light on the cause behind his untimely death.

Following an autopsy, the sedative alprazolam as well as compressed gas difluoroethane was found in his system.

According to the report, it is the gas “commonly used as a propellant in air spray cleaners”, which “can induce feelings of euphoria when inhaled.”

The two substances made him incapacitated due to which he was unable to get out of the tub in time and ended up drowning.

Last month, Carter’s mother Jane sent out a plea to charge investigation of her son’s death, alleging that the former child star was “murdered.”

She uploaded disturbing photos of the death scene via TMZ, which showed a bathtub containing green water, towels being thrown on the floor, and contaminated water spilled all over the bathroom tiles.

Who was Aaron Carter?

The singer and rapper was the younger brother of the Backstreet Boys’ frontman Nick Carter.

He stepped into the world of lights and cameras as a child star, becoming a global pop sensation as a teenager back in the 90s.

He released his debut album at age nine.
