Judy Farrell is not Nurse Able anymore.
The actress Judy Farrell, best remembered for playing Nurse Able on "M*A*S*H," passed away at the age of 84.
Her son Michael confirmed Farrell's death to Fox News Digital on Sunday, the reason was a 'heart stroke'.
Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan's "M*A*S*H" co-star Loretta Swit described Farrell as "family."
"Judy was a most beautiful woman – inside and out. We grew up together," she told Fox News Digital.
"She was family. This has been a painful loss, but we will always have the beauty of her memory. Rest in peace, Nurse Able."
"M*A*S*H" on CBS featured Farrell in eight episodes of the comedy show. The 11-season tv show, which followed staff members of the Mobile Army Surgical Hospital during the Korean War, ran from 1972 to 1983.
When the team made the decision to stop the show's run, the ratings were still very good. Author Alan Alda wanted "M*A*S*H" to come to a definitive end.
"I felt that we were running out of steam, and repeating ourselves," he said during a phone interview in 2017. "And I personally wanted to go out on a high note, artistically."
From 1963 to 1983, Farrell was wed to her M*A*S*H* co-star Mike Farrell. Mike appeared in 179 episodes of the popular show as BJ Hunnicutt.
Together with these shows, the actress also starred in "Get Smart," "The Partridge Family," "Port Charles," "Fame," and "Quincy, M.E."
In 1985, Farrell wed Joe Bratcher for a second time.
Bratcher and her two children Michael and Erin are also left behind.
