Paul O’Grady’s daughter has spoken out following her father’s death.
The late presenter shares Sharon Mousley, 48, with his former wife Diane Jansen.
“What can I say? We are all devastated, I am, my mum is, everyone is. We loved him and we will miss him,” she expressed to Daily Mail.
“We are all distraught,” Sharon added.
Sharon was born after Paul married his then-work colleague during the 170s.
Although the BBC Radio 2 alum later moved on in his life with husband Andre Portasio, he always spoke fondly of his daughter as well as his grandchildren, indicating that the pair fostered a great relationship since the beginning.
Portasio announced earlier this week that the comedian had passed away “unexpectedly but peacefully” due to natural causes.
Linda Thorson recounted the final moments of his death, saying, “he died in his own bed and his husband was there.”
He was 67.
Paul amassed a huge slew of tributes from big personalities, including Queen Consort Camilla.
The pair had a work relationship, as being pet lovers, they supported the work of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
“I am deeply saddened to have learned of the death of Paul O'Grady, whose warm heart and infectious humor lit up the lives of so many,” she said in a statement.
