The Kardashian-Jenner clan will, despite all odds, grace the red carpet of the Met Gala.
Earlier this month, it was reported that the reality TV family was “uninvited” from the annual fete as Vogue editor Anna Wintour attempts at downsizing the guest list.
However, insiders have refuted such claims, saying that "nothing was ever set in stone" and that Kim was "never told she might not be on the list."
They noted to The Sun that the invites have now been “officially sent out” and the SKIMS mogul has been “confirmed” to attend.
The source explained that the false rumors did indeed “see tensions run high behind the scenes in what has been a big misunderstanding.”
They continued: "It's been embarrassing for everyone involved but Kim is still excited and has already been working with a top fashion house to design a custom look for the night."
Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner had previously been the only ones to be invited to the star-studded event.
However, last year, the whole clan, including Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie and their matriarch Kris Jenner attended Met Gala in their signature styles.
Kim made her red carpet debut at the Met Gala in 2013 alongside her ex-husband Kanye West.
