Star Gwyneth Paltrow   just does not have her hands full with  Goop but she is also a proud  mother and a stepmother.

The actress became a parent in 2004  when she and her then-husband Chris Martin  welcomed daughter Apple.  Later in 2006 the duo's son was also born.

Martin came up with the  moniker and the mother surely fell in love with it, "I thought it was original and cool, I can’t imagine her being called anything else."

Apple is  a college student in New York City  school, with the  Iron Man actress often gushing over her teenager.

"I was born the day you were born, I love you."

The girl  has the duty of an elder sister since she was blessed with a brother  Moses.

After giving birth to  baby No.2  Paltrow suffered from post-partum depression .

About this the Golden Globe winner revealed, "I went to therapy and I started exercising again, I stopped drinking alcohol and I just gave myself a period of regeneration and I slept more."

Paltrow is a doting mom who cut back on her career to nurture her and the Coldplay frontman's kids but did not actually announce her semi- retirement from the entertainment business until 2020.

By that point, the actress got busy with her wellness brand and split from Martin which she referred to as conscious uncoupling.

The exes therefore maintained a cordial co-parenting relationship after Paltrow filed for divorce in 2015.

She also became a step mom to two kids by re-marrying  in September 2018 post divorce.

The Emmy winner's husband,  Brad Falchuk, is  dad to a daughter Isabella   and son Brody with ex-wife  Suzanne Bukinik.

While she  entered into this relationship with anxiety and fear, Paltrow did give her step kids all the love and attention they deserved and was never cruel to them.
