Ed Sheeran remembers ‘struggling’ with Mental Health After Wife Discovered Tumor in pregnancy

Ed Sheeran had a hard ‘mental’ struggle.

The "Shape of You" singer said in the Rolling Stone cover story that he was already having a terrible time due to the deaths of several close friends when he learned about his wife Cherry Seaborn's health.

According to the post, Seaborn, 30, had a tumour discovered when she was six months pregnant with Jupiter, her daughter who is now 10 months old.

When the couple first learned the tumour wouldn't be operable until after Seaborn gave birth, they debated having their daughter arrive earlier.

In the end, Seaborn gave birth to Jupiter, who joined the couple's 2-year-old daughter Lyra, at term and underwent "successful surgery" hours before Sheeran, 32, was scheduled to perform at London's Wembley Stadium.

"There's nothing you can do about it. You feel so powerless," Sheeran said.

Sheeran claimed that in March 2022, he began to feel "like I didn't want to live anymore."

"And I have had that throughout my life.… You're under the waves drowning. You're just sort of in this thing. And you can't get out of it," he candidly shared, admitting he felt shame about those feelings.
