Florence Pugh gushes about being 'muse' of ex Zach Braff's A Good Person

Florence Pugh has nothing but love for her ex-boyfriend Zach Braff.

Appearing on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon ahead of the release of Braff-directorial A Good Person starring Pugh and Morgan Freeman, the 27-year-old actress revealed he sent her a good luck text before the show.

“I want to talk about your new movie, A Good Person. This is written and directed by Zach Braff, who I love. He's a great guy. So talented, but also super funny,” host Jimmy Fallon said.

“Yeah, let's give him applause,” the Little Women star chimed in, adding: “He told me to have fun tonight, but he texted, ‘Tell mommy I love him.’”

“It was a typo and actually was Jimmy!” she clarified, to which Fallon quipped, “I was gonna say, ‘Did he ever call me mommy?’ That's cool.”

“Yeah, tell mommy you love him, too. Mommy loves you, Zach!” the actress joined in on the joke.

Zach Braff wrote A Good Person for Florence Pugh:

A Good Person is set to hit US and UK theatres this Friday following Braff’s claim that he wrote the film with Pugh as the lead star in her mind. 

“I'm just in awe of her talent,” the 47-year-old actor gushed to ET on Monday. “And I said, ‘I wanna write this [movie] for Florence. What I'm writing is really gonna be challenging and she's incredible.’”

The Black Widow actress responded to his claims, saying, “I was his muse. I think, also, there's so much ease with reading a script when someone knows how you talk and how far they can, like, push you and what you're capable of doing. So it was just a joy.”

Pugh and Braff dated from 2019 to 2022.
