Casey Affleck Celebrates Girlfriend Caylee Cowan's Birthday with Videos of Flowers Blossoming

Casey Affleck wishes his girlfriend Caylee Cowan her big day.

Affleck, 47, wished Cowan, 25, a happy birthday on Sunday by posting a video montage of many flowers blooming in a time-lapse.

"Happy birthday @cayleecowan. Keep going," the video's caption, which was also accompanied by upbeat piano music, was written by the Manchester by the Sea actor. "I love you."

I love you," Cowan, an actress who most recently made an appearance in the 2023 movie Divinity, wrote in response to Affleck's remark.

The actress celebrated her birthday on Sunday by reposting Affleck's post on her Instagram Story and sharing a snapshot of herself from years past on Instagram. Affleck just left a "heart" emoji in the comment section.

About two years have passed since Affleck and Cowan started dating. In Nov. 2021, Affleck declared their relationship on Instagram official, and in Jan. 2022, they exchanged social media posts to mark their one-year anniversary of dating.

"On our first date, you carried firewood up, built a fire, and gave me a low eyelid look that was so strong I had to take a knee for a minute," The description for the image, which featured a picture of the two people learning to make bread together in a Budapest bakery, was written by Affleck.

"Tonight, to celebrate knowing each other for a year, we went down to the local bakery here in Budapessshtt and cooked twelve loaves of bread. All I could smell was you."
