3 Actors who may ‘hit it big’ in 2023 and Future

Lily Gladstone

You may be familiar with Lily Gladstone from the films Certain Women and First Cow with Kelly Reichardt, as well as from her work on Billions and Reservation Dogs. Yet after acting alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, and Brendan Fraser in the newest Martin Scorsese film Killers of the Flower Moon, she is poised for her biggest year yet.

According to Variety, Gladstone, who is descended from the Blackfeet and Nez Perce tribes, portrays an Osage and the wife of DiCaprio's character in the film, which is about an inquiry into the deaths of Osage tribal members.

If her role is significant enough, Killers of the Flower Moon is anticipated to be a top Oscar contender, so don't be shocked to hear her name brought up when discussing Best Supporting Actress. A new Scorsese film would be more than enough for a year, but Gladstone also has roles in the Sundance premiere of Fancy Dance and the Hulu limited series Under the Bridge.

Tom Blyth

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, a prequel to The Hunger Games series, will be released in November, and notable actors including Rachel Zegler, Peter Dinklage, and Viola Davis will appear in it. Tom Blyth, who plays the young Coriolanus Snow, is a lesser-known actor who was given the starring part.

Blyth presently only has 10 acting credits listed on IMDb, including Benediction from 2022, and has less than 30,000 Instagram followers compared to Zegler's 853,000. Could the 27-year-success-old's as a movie star be attributed to The Hunger Games?

Cailee Spaeny

Austin Butler became much more well-known thanks to last year's Elvis, and he may even be in line to win an Oscar for the part. Will a different Elvis film have the same effect on Cailee Spaeny? The 24-year-old might be recognised from Pacific Rim Uprising or Mare of Easttown. She will, however, play Priscilla Presley in Sofia Coppola's biopic Priscilla, which will be one of her first main roles. She is paired with Elvis, played by Jacob Elordi.

It hasn't been confirmed that Priscilla will be released in 2023, but if it does, it may place Spaeny in the running for Best Actress at the Oscars in 2024 as Butler did before her.
