Demi Lovato to make directorial debut with documentary about child stardom

Singer Demi Lovato  will debut as a director with the documentary titled Child Star. 

The feature length documentary places emphasis  on the ups and downsides  of kids growing up in the spotlight. 

It will be from the perspective  of some of the famous child stars  like Lovato  which  will properly deconstruct  what it is like to grow with cameras  and promises  real conversations with several former child actors. 

A press release includes, "Through intimate conversations led by Lovato, verité footage, and archival material from all subjects involved, the film will reach beyond the traditional narratives seen in op-eds and tabloids to consider the changing nature of growing up in an increasingly connected and public world." 

There is no better directorial  for Lovato  than this story which hits close to home. 

Her die-hard fans are excited to see   her on the screens  soon.

Lovato will be co-directing   Child Star  along with Nicola Marsh.  

The producer of this documentary includes  OBB Pictures  of Michael D.Ratner , DLG -Demi's production banner  and SB projects of  Scooter Braun. 

This documentary  will be released in 2024 exclusively on Hulu.
