Lady Gaga, who will host this year's Oscars, will have her 2019 Academy Awards appearance preserved due to a new wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood.
The triple threat, 36, is seen in a reproduction of her vintage ensemble, which includes a strapless Alexander McQueen gown, black gloves, and a massive yellow diamond necklace.
Just as she did on the red carpet for the event before winning her first-ever Oscar for the song "Shallow" from the movie A Star Is Born, Gaga's wax figure is blowing a kiss to the crowd.
Fans are sure to do a double-take when they see how much the wax statue resembles the Mother Monster in real life. Since March 8, the most recent figurine has been on display.
In the Best Original Song category, Gaga is nominated once more for co-writing "Hold My Hand," an original song from the Top Gun: Maverick album.
Lady Gaga is now expected to 'surprisingly' perform at the Oscars, unlike the rumours that she won't be singing at the 2023 event, which will be held Sunday night at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Producer of the 2023 Oscars Glen Weiss first said that Gaga was asked to participate in the ceremony on Sunday but could not commit.
During a press conference, Weiss stated, ""We have a great relationship with Lady Gaga and her camp."
She didn't feel she could perform at the level she usually does at the yearly awards event because she is now filming a new movie. Weiss continued, "So, she is not going to perform on the show.”
Joker: Folie à Deux, in which Gaga plays Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix's Joker, is now in production.
