In 1932, he bagged his first award for the best animated short film Flowers and Trees and it was the first time in the history of Oscars that an animated movie like this achieved a milestone.
As far as the movies are concerned Ben-Hur bagged 11 awards over 12 nominations, Titanic won 11 awards out of 14 nominations and the Lord of the Rings: Return of the Kings has been nominated for 11 categories and won in each one of them.
