Jimmy Fallon visits The Voice, surprising his pals with 'amazing' singing skills

Jimmy Fallon was able to play a joke on his friends by secretly entering as a contestant on The Voice the show that aired on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023, according to People magazine.

The show's host Carson Daly said in the introductory clip, hinting at Fallon's surprise visit, "We have a surprise for our coaches. Right now, we have an artist preparing for the biggest performance of their entire life."

The 48-year-old talk show presenter then enters the stage amid applause and delivers an outstanding rendition of I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Close) in a falsetto.

As soon as Fallon starts singing, Kelly Clarkson and Niall Horan, a former member of One Direction, turn around. As they saw Fallon on stage, they started laughing right away.

Then, as Fallon danced around the stage, Chance the Rapper turned around and screamed in amazement.

As Fallon neared the finish of the performance, Blake Shelton—the only person still present—walked over to his chair and clicked the red button on his behalf.

"You can't do that! You know the rules," Shelton quipped.

After that, Fallon offered the country singer a bear embrace and congrats for 23 seasons on the show.

The Voice's 23rd season marks the debut of new coaches Horan and Chance, both 29 years old.
