Keanu Reeves reveals about character he desired to play

On Reddit, Keanu Reeves responded to inquiries from fans and revealed the X-Men character he had always imagined playing.

"I did always want to play Wolverine," Reeves told a fan.

Hugh Jackman has been portraying Wolverine on the big screen since 2000, as you may already be aware. Jackman will play the character again in Deadpool 3.

Although Reeves didn't play a Marvel superhero, he did take on the role of a DC superhero in the 2005 movie Constantine, which was based on the Hellblazer comic book. A fan inquired about Reeves' conversations with DC co-head James Gunn regarding the planned sequel, and Reeves replied that he had. On the anticipated release date for the movie, Reeves remained mum.

Reeves responded when another Redditor questioned if he had ever taken anything from a set he worked on.

"Not stolen… the watch and wedding ring from John Wick, a sword from 47 Ronin, and the first red pill that the Wachowski’s ever gave me."

David Fincher was mentioned by Reeves as one of the directors he would like to collaborate with in the future.

When questioned about his favourite moment while filming Point Break, he responded, "Working with Patrick Swayze. He was a gentlemen [sic] and a total pro, a movie star, an inspiration."

The 58-year-old Canadian actor acknowledged that he still has the red pill from the 1999 film's set during a Saturday Reddit Ask Me Anything session.

Queried if he's ever "stolen anything" from any of his movie sets, Reeves replied, "Not stolen … the watch and wedding ring from John Wick, a sword from 47 Ronin, and the first red pill that the Wachowskis ever gave me."
