Oscars 2023: Date, time and what else you need to know

The most prestigious event is going to be held very soon 

The most prestigious awards ceremony the Oscars 2023 is just a week away and is slated to take place on March 12 which will reveal who will hold the golden knight. 

The 2023 Academy awards will be broadcasted live in the Dolby Theatre at the Ovation Hollywood shopping mall in Los Angeles, on Sunday. 

It begins at 8 pm and will last for around three hours and will conclude at 11pm. 

Typically the red carpet begins two hours before the event. 

ABC would broadcast it live with Jimmy Kimmel hosting it. ABC is available on all cable and satellite subscriptions. 

For those not having a cable or a satellite, you may watch the Oscars using streaming services like Sling TV, YouTube TV, Fubo TV,  Hulu plus and DirecTV stream. 

The meaning behind the Oscar Awards magnificent design 

The Oscar accolade is designed in a way that honors every individual for their field of work. 

Mostly a stylized depiction of a knight carrying a crusaders sword perched atop a reel of film with five spokes representing Academy's five-founding branches. 

Celebrities have put in their blood and sweat into setting a benchmark and reaching the Oscars where every director, producer and actor's goal is to take home the golden knight. 

It considered to be the most valuable accolade for the entertainment industry.
