Travis Scott was seen acting very aggressively in a new video that emerged after he reportedly destroyed $12,000 worth of sound equipment in a fit of rage at a club.
In a video shared by Page Six, the Highest in the Room hit-maker was witnessed to be angrily saying "back the f**k up" to a DJ who was attempting to lower the sound.
As per sources, the rapper had turned up the volume too high which was causing distortion leading to the DJ trying to lower the volume that ineffectively caused Scott to have a meltdown.
In his spat with the DJ he began "yelling aggressively in his face on why he lowered the sound," as per a witness.
"Then he smacks the soundman right across the face.
"It caused a big commotion between Travis’ security and club security," the source continued.
"After that, Travis took the phone from one fan", who recorded the scenario unfold, and reportedly "threw the phone on the floor".
It didn’t end there, the musician also took out his anger at the equipment as he "punched one of the speakers and dented it, that’s how hard it was".
He also "broke the video screen behind the DJ booth".
Another source came forward to describe the scene and said, "He was banging on the projector screen really aggressively and broke it in half."
"Travis came in angry and intoxicated and progressively went postal," the source told the aforementioned publication.
Eventually, police were called to the venue and a complaint was lodged however Scott was not arrested for the incident.
The singer’s lawyer Mitchell Schuster issued a statement saying: "While this is clearly a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation, we are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight. We are confident our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing."
