Madonna, Andrew Darnell: Couple SPLIT after ‘five months’

Madonna and Andrew Darnell are not together anymore.

After dating for less than a year, Madonna and her model boyfriend Andrew Darnell, who is 41 years her junior, reportedly called it quits.

The Material Girl singer, 64, is going through a "crisis of confidence" due to their divorce and recent criticism of her appearance earlier this month that was "ageist and misogynistic."

'It was only a very casual thing [with Darnell] so she’s not broken-hearted. It’s just that it has come at a bad time,' a source told Page Six on Friday.

The insider added, 'She’s having a bit of a crisis of confidence and this doesn’t help. She had a lot of fun with Andrew but it was never love or anything like that.'

The pair started dating just after her three-year relationship with former backup dancer Ahlamalik Williams, 28, ended.

She was initially romantically associated with Darnell in September after they were seen kissing at a gathering in New York City.

'They were definitely smooching,' Page Six reported at the time. 'She and Andrew were being very openly affectionate all night, snuggling and cuddling in the booth.'

Why Madonna separated from Andrew Darnell

Haters complaining on social media that she didn't recognise herself at the 2023 Grammy Awards allegedly shaken her self-esteem.

In reaction to criticism, the mother of six stated that a "long lens camera" had caused her face to appear puffier than it was during the presentation.

'Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in,' she wrote on her Instagram Story.

Sam Smith, who shared the pair prize and became the first openly non-binary artist to win in the Best Pop Duo/Group Collaboration category, and Kim Petras, who became the first openly trans person to win a Grammy, were both introduced by Madonna in her lengthy post.
