Dani Alves will be kept in detention without posting bail until the commencement of his trial, a Barcelona judge has ruled.
After being charged with allegedly raping a female in a Barcelona nightclub on December 30, 2022, Alves has been incarcerated for over a month.

His wife Joana Sanz has decided to leave the nation in response to this choice after realising that Dani Alves is still imprisoned.
Joana Sanz informed her supporters that she would be departing Spain, although briefly.
"Moving my ass to another country, ready for the next 11 days of work," Sanz shared through an Instagram story from the Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport.
The model and Lola Casademunt were spotted together lately in Madrid. In a year where she is dealing with the fallout from the Alves case as well as the tragic loss of her mother, work is her best means of escaping reality.
