Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lost their reputation?

Is America falling out of love with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry? The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly very concerned about losing their celebrity status in the country.

The couple, who stepped down from all their royal duties, moved to California and have been living there since a while. Lately, speculations arose that they might return to the UK for good.

Now it seems they are facing a hard time in America as well as they have been repeatedly mocked by some TV presenters as a result of their publicity stunt and attacks on their own royal relatives.

After a lot of efforts and hit shows, the pair's strategy to regain all the fame has completely declined.

Animated comedy show South Park targeted the couple with the episode featuring the characters of the Prince and Princess of Canada, a young royal couple who moved to a small town to seek privacy while constantly drawing attention to themselves.

The creators of the show have now taken a fierce jibes over Meghan and Harry, including a  book written by the Canadian Prince, Waagh, with a cover that resembles Harry's memoir Spare

All this shows that the couple have no value left in eyes of Americans after being booed by the satirical cartoon and this leaves them dissatisfied and anxious about the future. They are now seriously considering regaining their lost image by taking assistance from their celebrity friends.

A timeline into Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's frail relationship with the royal family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's bond with the rest of the royal family has been strained for years now.

Brothers Harry and William appeared to be very close at one point and seemed to grow tighter as ever following Princess Diana's death.

Harry also served as the best man in William and Kate Middleton's 2011 wedding and the trio often used to attend events together.

In the early months of the Sussex's marriage, they lived at the Nottingham cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace where William and Kate lived with their children. But shortly after her pregnancy was announced by the Palace they moved to Frogmore cottage and from then onwards it was speculated that there were tensions between brothers.

Until the spring of 2019, Harry and Meghan both shared a royal office with Kate and William but then soon appointed their own. These things hinted a lot over broken ties.

An unnamed source told the The Times, "They wanted their household to be entirely independent of Buckingham Palace, but were told 'no."'
