Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis' ex nanny files lawsuit over wrongful termination

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis’ former nanny has sued the pair over wrongful termination after the pair allegedly fired her due to her mental health.

The lawsuit obtained by People was filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court by Ericka Genaro.

In the documents, Genaro detailed going through “extreme anxiety and stress” while caring for the pair’s two kids after their split.

"Wilde's sudden absence from the home had an adverse consequence on its emotional state, including Sudeikis leaning on the presence of [Genaro] for support," the complaint read.

Genaro claimed that the 47-year-old actor would ask her to "stay up at night after the kids were put to bed to talk," causing her “extreme anxiety.”

"The pressure of [Genaro] not only being the primary caretaker of the children but also filling in Wilde's absence for the children, became debilitating," the lawsuit alleged.

Genaro said that she was suggested a "three-day medical leave of absence because of her mental health" by her osteopath, which led Sudeikis to terminate her “on the spot.”

The nanny is seeking damages for "loss of earnings, deferred compensation, and other employment benefits."
