Angelina sold her share of one of Brad Pitt's dearest property

One of the most sacrosanct agreements that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had was around their French winery estate, Chateau Miraval, which is valued at $164 million. They are currently engaged in a vicious court battle over their assets after beginning their divorce.

Brad wanted to leave the winery to their children as part of their inheritance, therefore they agreed that any decision to sell one of their equal partnerships in the business would be carefully considered. The pair had once been "happily married."

However, Angelina decided to sell her share to a Russian tycoon without first contacting her ex-husband.

The property was purchased by Tenute del Mondo from Angelina Jolie. Tenute del Mondo is a subsidiary of the Stoli Group, which is "indirectly managed" by Russian businessman Yuri Shefler.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie agreed on the buyer, but she later changed her mind when the custody dispute over her children went against her.

According to documents obtained by Radar Online, Brad Pitt requested an emergency hearing but the Los Angeles Superior Court judge vehemently rejected the actor's request.
