As per reports, Paramount+ has decided to renew the Yellowstone prequel, 1923 for a second season.
First premiered on Dec. 18, 1923 served to be one of the most successful shows on the streaming platform, garnering over 7 million total viewers.
Its first episode is also the most-watched premiere ever in the history of Paramount+.
The period-drama follows a new generation of the Duttons, led by patriarch Jacob, played by Harrison Ford, and matriarch Cara, played by Helen Mirren, as they navigate their life through early-20th Century pandemics, historic drought, and the end of Prohibition.
Darren Mann, James Badge Dale, Michelle Randolph, Brian Geraghty, Marley Shelton, Aminah Nieves, and Jerome Flynn also star.
