James Gunn is setting up high expectations for the upcoming The Flash movie.
According to Deadline, the co-CEO of DC Studios couldn’t stop raving about it with the reporters on Tuesday, Jan. 31.
"I will say here that Flash is probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made," Gunn shared, adding that its storyline “resets everything” for the franchise.
The superhero film was met with criticisms and demands for cancelation due to the alarming behavior of its lead star Ezra Miller.
However, Pete Safran, another CEO of the franchise assured that “Ezra is completely committed to their recovery. We are fully supportive of that journey they are on right now. When the time is right, when they are ready to have that discussion, we will all figure out what the best path forward is."
The Flash is slated to hit the theatres in June. 16.
