Gerard Pique debuted his girlfriend on Instagram, 7-months after separating from Shakira

Gerard Piqué, Shakira's ex, just revealed his relationship on social media.

The former professional soccer player uploaded a selfie on Instagram on Wednesday showing him cuddling with Clara Chia Marti, 23. The picture was his first of Marti on his page, and there was no caption to go with it.

Shakira, 45, and Piqué, 35, shared a statement in June announcing their separation.

"We regret to confirm that we are separating," the exes said at the time. "We ask for privacy at this moment for the well-being of our children, who are our maximum priority. Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect."

The former couple, who are parents to 10-year-old Milan and 7-year-old Sasha, initially acknowledged their relationship in March 2011. They first connected while filming the music video for her song Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), which served as the FIFA World Cup 2010's anthem.

Two weeks have passed since Shakira disparaged Piqué in her brand-new song, BZRP Music Session #53, which marks Piqué's debut with Marti.

"Sorry baby, I should have thrown you out a while ago / A she-wolf like me is not for rookies / A she-wolf like me is not for guys like you," she sang in part, bobbing to her 2009 hit She Wolf, released shortly before the pair met in 2010. "I'm too good for you, and that's why you're with someone just like you."
