Doja Cat made a statement at this year’s Schiaparelli Haute Couture.
The 27-year-old rapper turned heads at the runway extravaganza held at Petit Palais in Paris today, as she showed up covered in 30,000 Swarovski crystals from head to toe.
The Say So singer looked flawless in the red ensemble – which took five hours to put on – and consisted of a silk faille bustier, a hand-knit skirt adorned with lacquered wooden beads, and a pair of knee-high Tropme l’œil toe boots.
With deep attention to detail, her ears, eyelids, and nails were also swathed in sparkle.
The crystal double-drop earrings hung from her ears.
The body art was done by makeup artist Pat McGrath, who expressed his honor “to collaborate with the incredibly gifted @DojaCat and @DanielRoseberry on the ‘Doja’s Inferno’ look for @Schiaparelli’s Haute Couture collection” in a post on Instagram.
He also appreciated Doja’s “patience and commitment during the 4 hours and 58 minutes it took to create the look.”
“The final product was a magical, mesmerizing masterpiece and a tribute to Doja Cat’s hard work and dedication,” he added.
