Moonwalker Buzz Aldrin ties knot with 'longtime love' on 93rd birthday

Moonwalker Buzz Aldrin marked his 93rd birthday with a double celebration.

The second man to walk on the moon announced that he got married to his long-term partner Dr Anca Faur in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles.

“On my 93rd birthday & the day I will also be honored by Living Legends of Aviation I am pleased to announce that my longtime love Dr. Anca Faur & I have tied the knot,” he wrote above the photos of the pair from the wedding.

“We were joined in holy matrimony in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles and are as excited as eloping teenagers,” he added.

Faur has been an employee at Buzz Aldrin Ventures since 2019.

In the photos, Aldrin dressed in classic groom attire, adorning it with a medal and an Air Force badge.

Meanwhile, Faur looked radiant in a lace dress.

Aldrin has been married and divorced three times. He has three children, one grandson, three great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
