Flo Rida wins $82m against energy company after failure to compensate

Flo Rida is rolling in money after the musician bagged a whopping $82 million following a lawsuit against energy dink company Celsius which was settled in his favour.

The Hip Hop sensation was able to make his case in a Florida court after he claimed that he was not compensated accordingly after the company’s meteoric rise, following his stint as their brand ambassador in 2014.

In an interview with CNBC, Flo Rida explained that he discovered the inconsistency all thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, which allowed him to stay at home and take a deep dive into his finances and past investments including those, was his deal with Celsius.

The company claimed that it was not doing well on the sales of the endorsed product; the rapper was surprised to learn otherwise.

"I check it out and they were telling me that one of the products I was endorsing wasn't selling and I got a chance to look at it and it was doing more than well. This product has done over tens and tens of millions of dollars since I joined the company", he argued.
