Disneyland Magic Keys: What you need to know to get highly coveted pass

Disneyland Resort has announced the sale of its Magic Key Pass which gives members a plethora of perks.

The resort introduced the Magic Key program as in place of Annual Passes.

The keys come with different tiers each with their own special offerings.

The highest tier is the Dream Key which sold out in October 2021 which was then followed by the Believe Key.

Sales of the four pass tiers first began in August 2021.

"As we shared last week, we’re making select Magic Key passes available for new sales throughout 2023 – as pass inventory becomes available – to meet the incredible ongoing demand voiced by our guests and welcome more of our biggest fans into the program," Disneyland officials said in a statement. 

"At this time, select passes are now available for new sales, and renewals for current Magic Key holders within their renewal window will continue for all available pass types."

The website states the following:

Please note that, due to high demand, Magic Key pass availability is limited and being in the queue does not guarantee the ability to purchase any Magic Key pass.
Note: New pass sales will be paused each night at 10:00 PM Pacific Time. Guests will remain in the queue overnight, as long as they remain connected to the network and keep their browser window open. Pass sales will resume no earlier than 9:00 AM Pacific Time, the following day.
If any passes are still available when it’s your turn, you’ll have 10 minutes to enter the site. Entering the site does not guarantee the ability to purchase any Magic Key pass.
New pass sales are available online only.
