Beloved comedy show Night Court is back on NBC with a new twist to the classic tale.
The original show of the same name ran for nine seasons from 1984 to 1992 which focused on the stories of the night shift of Manhattan municipal court that was sprinkled with whacky moments and hilarious legal practices by none other than Judge Harry T. Stone.
His character was played by the late Harry Laverne Anderson.
The show was a major success as it bagged 31 Emmy nominations and seven wins throughout its nine season life.
The revival of the series will be essayed on the story of Harry’s daughter Abby Stone, essayed by Melissa Rauch, as she takes the reigns in the courtroom as a judge.
