Rick and Morty Season 7: Air date, cast members, creators + more
One of the writers of Rick and Morty confirmed that Season 7 of the animated series is in the works
Rick and Morty is coming back for another season.
The adult comedy cartoon is set to return for Season 7 in the summer of 2023.
While the exact details of the upcoming season are under wraps, it is expected for the season to be based on ten episodes.
Rick and Morty follows grandson Morty and his grandfather Rick embark on fun adventures and travel across planets and dimensions.
Show creators, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland will be helming it, with Roiland, Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Beth Smith, and Sarah Chalke returning as voice artists of the animated series.
Alex Rubens, the writer of Rick and Morty, had previously tweeted to announce that they had begun to work on Season 7.
“Am I allowed to say we started writing Rick and Morty Season 7 (If not, we didn’t, and I’m not),” he quipped.
Harmon also corroborated the announcement in his tweet. “I think we’re working on Season 7 right now; I can’t even keep track. I wouldn’t know if I were spoiling Season 5 or Season 6,” he said.
