CJ Harris, former American Idol alum dies at 31

CJ Harris is no more.

The former "American Idol" participant CJ Harris, who placed in the top 6 in 2014, passed away at the age of 31.

CJ reportedly experienced an apparent heart attack on Sunday night in Jasper, Alabama; he was transported there by EMS but did not survive.

The Jasper native stunned the judges with his rendition of the Allman Brothers Band's "Soulshine" when he appeared on the show in Salt Lake City in 2014.
