Little Mix alum Perrie Edwards signs with Columbia Records: report

Perrie Edwards is set to start big.

The 29-year-old singer is reportedly a step closer to releasing solo music after she signed with Columbia Records recently.

The renowned label houses big names like Beyonce and Harry Styles.

An industry insider told The Sun: “Perrie is super-talented and label execs think she could be a global star.

“They are very keen to ink a deal soon and talks have been ongoing.

“Perrie is bursting with ideas for solo material.”

The Little Mix alum herself expressed excitement about launching her solo career, saying, “I’m just having so much fun experimenting with different sounds. It’s really good.

“I’m so lucky, I’m working with such amazing people. I’m really grateful. I want to make music that I love.”

As for other members of Little Mix, Leigh-Anne has signed a record deal with Warner Music, while Jade Thrilwill is currently working with Atlantic Records.
