Marine experts are concerned after seven dead whales washed up on shore in a month
A seventh whale washed up dead on Jersey Shore in over a month, causing a wave of debates among marine experts over the potential cause of this.
The whale was a 20-foot-lomg humpback whale that washed up on the beach on Thursday afternoon, confirmed the Marine Mammal Stranding Center on Friday.
"Due to the incoming tide and low light last night, staff returned at daybreak this morning to take photos," the update read.
"Plans are underway for a necropsy to be performed on the animal."
