Liza Soberano is the new Miss Universe.

Actress Liza Soberano underwent a transformation into a Miss Universe queen with the aid of social media star Patrick Starrr, who is of Filipino descent.

Soberano, who is currently residing in Los Angeles, California, spent time with Patrick for a makeover vlog in which she had the opportunity to don a clone of the Miss Universe pageant's Mikimoto crown.

“It feels right. No, I’m just kidding. I feel very honoured to be in your presence,” she said at the start of the video.

The actress, who gained notoriety in the Philippines through performances with her boyfriend Enrique Gil, revealed in the same video that she is relocating to Los Angeles to further her career in show business.

She claims that it is simpler to hang out in the neighbourhood because there are numerous acting chances.

“It’s a lot easier to build my career if I’m here because they are always constantly looking for in-person meetings. It’s so hard to book jobs if you are meeting people over Zoom. They can’t really tell what your personality is like,” she explained.

Soberano stated that she hopes to pursue both a singing career and a career as an actor of the highest calibre.

After working for several years under Ogie Diaz's direction, she secured a contract with James Reid's Careless Music, placing her abilities under new management.

“I’ve been training a lot here. I’ve been taking vocal lessons, acting,” she continued.

The Kapamilya actress continued by mentioning that, in addition to the climate, she particularly enjoys the work environment in Los Angeles, which has convinced her that it is the perfect place to determine her true career goals.

“I really like the weather. I actually love just the culture of working hard and grinding to be successful. This year and the next will be figuring out what I really want to do with my career. And personally find out what excites me,” Soberano said.

Soberano has been in the US since last year when she wrapped up shooting "Lisa Frankenstein," her Hollywood first movie starring Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse.
