Prince Harry discloses Princess Diana 'would be sad' with his, Prince William's relation

Prince Harry is remembering Princess Diana as he began to tell his story to the world in his memoir, Spare.

The 38-year-old Duke of Sussex discussed his connection with Prince William today with Michael Strahan in his second American television interview for his memoir, which will be published on January 10.

In a part from his upcoming interview with the Good Morning America anchor that was leaked to Twitter on Thursday, Prince Harry addressed the sensitive topic.

"How would your mom feel about your relationship with your brother?" Strahan, 51, asked. Pausing for a moment, Harry replied, "I think she would be sad."

"I think she would be looking at it long term to know that there are certain things we need to go through to be able to heal the relationship," he resumed.

"I have felt the presence of my mum more so in the last two years than I have in the last 30," he added.

The conversation between Prince Harry and Strahan will be broadcast on GMA on Monday at 7 a.m. EST. The programme Prince Harry: In His Own Words will then air at 8:30 p.m.
