Billie Eilish's home in LA robbed, suspects arrested: report

After reportedly breaking into Billie Eilish's family home on Thursday night, a suspect was detained.

Around 9:15 p.m., Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers responded to a report from the Highland Park neighbourhood, according to ABC 7.

According to the source, the house is owned by Patrick O'Connell and Maggie Baird, parents of the Academy Award and seven-time Grammy winner.

At this moment, it is unclear if anything was taken from the two-bedroom house. According to several sources, the culprit was apprehended.

A man was handcuffed and restrained by at least three LAPD officers during the suspect's arrest, as seen on video.

Aerial photos of the house were posted by ABC7 correspondent Chris Cristi on Twitter, along with a statement that the LAPD's robbery investigators are looking into the case.

The male suspect allegedly scaled a fence on the premises, claims Cristi. There have been no injuries associated with the event as of late Thursday night.

After her address appeared online and several fans showed up at her house in 2019, the singer was compelled to hire a security guard to spend the night in her living room.

"It was really traumatizing," she told Rolling Stone at the time. "I completely don’t feel safe in my house anymore, which sucks. I love my house."
