Prince Harry reveals he desired to re-open Lady Diana's case

Recently, Prince Harry has gained attention because of the release of the Netflix documentary series in which he and Meghan Markle discussed royal concerns. In addition to the documentary series, the Duke of Sussex will also release a book titled Spare.

The public's desire to learn more about the royal family has led to a lot of press coverage for the book.

Harry describes the demise of his mother, Princess Diana, and the events that followed shortly after he learned of it in one of the book's chapters.

Following the passing of Lady Di, William and Harry both went to the iconic Paris tunnel where she and Dodi Fayed, along with the driver, perished in a terrible automobile accident while evading paparazzi.

According to the memoir of Prince Harry that NBC News was able to access, Harry claimed that both William and himself wanted to renew the crash inquiry but that those who are not mentioned: "persuaded them not to."

When Harry was only 12 years old in 1997, Diana was involved in a car accident that left her with severe injuries before she ultimately took her own life.

He recalled that his father, who is currently King Charles III, told both him and William the news.

"What I do remember with stunning clarity is that I did not cry," Harry said "Not a tear. My father did not hug me".
