Doja Cat receives death threats from an angry fan, reports

Doja Cat filed a complaint against the enraged fan, which has since led to a criminal inquiry, after being intimidated.

According to TMZ, the fan was the target of a complaint made by the 27-year-old hip-hop musician, which led to a criminal investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Doja Cat reportedly threatened the rapper and said, "he would see her soon" after removing the fan from the chat who was reportedly from outside California.

The singer of the hit song Say So also got into a fight with fans in Paraguay earlier this year after cancelling a performance due to bad weather. She updated her profile image and announced her decision to "quit" music.

In a now-deleted post, Doja Cat wrote: "This (expletive) ain't for me so I'm out. Y'all take care."

"There was a storm in Paraguay, the show got cancelled. When I left the next morning, there wasn't one person outside the hotel waiting for me," she added.

In addition, the rapper changed to a more appreciative tone a few days later to express her gratitude to her fans.

"I can travel, I can eat good food, I can see new people, I can smile, I can make memories that I dreamed of having," she wrote.

"'I can laugh, I can support my family and my friends, I can learn about the world, and I can give back to everyone because of you."
