Finneas defends sister Billie Eilish's age-gap romance with Jesse Rutherford

Finneas is standing by Billie Eilish’s romantic decisions.

The 25-year-old musician responded to criticism against Eilish and her recent romance with Jesse Rutherford, who is 10 years older than her.

A user reposted one of the Blood Harmony artist’s TikToks and wrote: "Your sister's dating a 31-year-old man and your music is [expletive]."

Finneas didn’t let the hate comment slide and jumped at the Bad Guy singer’s defense.

"I want my sister to be happy and safe," Finneas said, "and she is a 21-year-old adult perfectly entitled to make her own life decisions."

Eilish confirmed her relationship with Rutherford back in October after they were spotted packing on PDA after a night out in Los Angeles.

Since then, the Happier Than Ever artist hasn’t shied away from gushing about the whirlwind romance on and off screen.
