Daesung, a member of the South Korean boy group Big Bang, has decided not to renew his contract with the entertainment agency, YG.
As per YG Official’s announcement, the 33-year-old actor has decided to terminate the contract with the agency as he is “looking for a fresh start.”
However, they assured that he will remain part of the Big Bang.
"We will support Daesung's new start and choice and are open to collaborate any time," they said in the statement.
The news comes after G-Dragon decided to stay with the company, and Taeyang announced his transfer to The Black Label under YG Entertainment.
T.O.P also left YG following the expiration of his contract earlier this year.
