King Charles III is leaving it behind.

According to reports, the 74-year-old monarch is planning on inviting his youngest son, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle to his coronation next year.

Sources told Daily Mail that while the invitations for the upcoming event have not been sent out yet, His Majesty has left the doors open for the estranged pair to attend the ceremony.

“While things are difficult at the moment, the door will always be left ajar,” the source revealed, adding “Harry is his son and His Majesty will always love him.”

The coronation ceremony is set to take place on May 6, 2023, which will also mark Sussex’s son Archie’s 4th birthday.

The royal experts previously assured that the date was merely a coincidence and was not meant to be a dig at the exiled royals.

“The date was chosen because it’s just before the state opening of Parliament and Charles will want to appear as King with his crown and the whole ceremonial (robes),” Tom Bower explained to Page Six.
