Dua Lipa spreads holiday cheer via festive nails: See

This is the season for festive nails, and pop icon Dua Lipa's version has to be one of the best we have seen. 

The Don’t Start Now singer is known for her bold digits, opting for long length, stiletto shapes and Y2K trends like glitter, butterflies, and kaleidoscopic colour.

Lipa has worked with renowned celebrity nail artist Mei to create a black base framed with a glittering tinsel wrapped around. 

For those living in a bubble, Mei is a Japanese technician, who now works out of New York and is known for her A-list client roster including Rosalia, Penelope Cruz and Blake Lively plus she has collaborated with countless ad campaigns, cementing herself as one of the coolest and talented manicurists in the industry. 

The New Rules crooner shared all the works of nail art on her Instagram page and captioned,  "It’s that time of year," while Mei uploaded the finished look to her grid. 

 It’s not the first time the pop star has sparked a beauty trend. The just-wrapped Future Nostalgia tour saw glitter liner, eye jewels and face crystals. Her long black mermaid waves have been a resounding favourite, too.
