Kanye West reigns over Billboard's Gospel & Christian charts 2022

Billboard has unveiled its annual list of top artists and music.

Despite being surrounded by controversies all year, Kanye West continued to reign as the Top Gospel Artist, as well as the top male artist of the year, for the second year.

Thanks to his faith-based album, Donda, The 45-year-old musician also dominated the list of Top Christian Artists of 2022.

The album is second to his LP, Jesus is King, to dominate the Top Gospel Albums chart for the longest time since 1983.

Meanwhile, CeCe Winans has been crowned the top female gospel artist of the year, for the second time since 2021.
