Queen Elizabeth II final days laid bare by royal expert

Queen Elizabeth II knew her final day is coming, says author.

The former monarch of Britain ensured she had not 'regrets' as she prepared of her final journey, writes Gyles Brandreth.

"The truth is that Her Majesty always knew that her remaining time was limited. She accepted this with all the grace you'd expect," Brandreth writes in his book.

"'Her faith was everything to her. She told me she had no regrets,' said Dr. Greenshields, referring to the last weekend he spent with her at Balmoral."

Queen Elizabeth II passed away at Balmoral Castle in September 2022.
